[Video]

[The video feed suddenly kicks in with the sound of rushing winds and the sight of a blue sky. And soon, falling into view is bushy-browed teenager with a bowlcut, confusion and panic written all over his face.

Upon arrival, Rock Lee and his book open have begun freefalling through the sky to towards the village. Lee keeps his eyes focused on the open book and pushes himself through the air to get a closer look. Just enough to tell that it's some kind of communication device... and that it seems to be recording his face, and his movements.

Can they hear him, too? A million thoughts rush through his head. What happened? Where did everyone go? Why am I floating through the sky? Somebody help me down! But... if people could see him, he wouldn't want to look weak, would he? He's Rock Lee, after all. The Green Beast of Konoha. He can figure out a way out of this.

What would Gai Sensei do?

So he opts to force on a smile, one full of shining teeth, and he flashes a thumbs up towards the camera and shouts as loud as he can.]

DYNAMIC... ENTRY!

[Lee can find his way down. After all, his training weights are gone. He feels so light.]

[If anyone misses out on the high-paced action, they can find Lee after he lands - either traveling to the item shop for his headband, weights and equipment or to the clothing shop for his valued green jumpsuit and vest. He'll also jog around to survey the village and some of the forest afterwards, eager to greet his new neighbors in the process.]

[ WELL THAT WAS LOUD - wait what.

Ikki peers at the screen. She'd been opening up her journal to reply, but what. He's...in the sky, right? That's sky?

...Well he doesn't seem concerned about it?

[Ino's currently busying herself with ikebana at the moment. It's always like this whenever something strange/bad happens. Ikebana's therapeutic, in a way, second would be shopping and relaxing in hot springs. Thinking what flower will go best with a certain arrangement helps push away unwanted lonely thoughts.

Her journal's sitting on her bed, away from her bedside table where she's doing her arrangement so she didn't notice someone fuzzy and green doing a recording.

Hm, if I put white camellias here...]

[All train of thought got derailed, though, when she heard that oh so loud declaration that she almost didn't recognize at first with her shock.

Or with the way that her shock made it possible for her to drop the flowers she was holding along with her heart.]

[NOW THIS ARRANGEMENT RUINED!!! Thanks a lot, Lee, for destroying her ikebana zen! Rushing to get her journal, she double checks who she should yell at.]

[He stares for a moment. A little girl has appeared in my book!]

Hello young girl! There is no flying jutsu that I can perform, but I assure you that I am going to be safe.

[Susan...couldn't help but wonder what was going through this young man's mind as she watched the video feed. As quickly as she could she ran outside and scanned the sky for him. He was still falling, but his whoop of joy...it definitely made her think of Johnny...so she guessed that maybe she should help.]

Do you want to look really cool when you land?

[He speaks loudly over the whipping wind.]

Ino-san! There you are! Where is the rest of the army, and when did we get this communication device?

[ UM WHAT ] Wait, if you can't FLY how are you going to be SAFE?

[ ...maybe she should get an adult, but she's too confused to do so. ]

Yes, I would like nothing less! Gai-Sensei has always said that looking cool is the ultimate expression of one's youth! [But mostly he'd like to look alive.]

[What army? Oh great, he's also from that time. Please spare her the details, at least, to compensate for not sparing her arrangement.]

The rest of the army is at home - back in our world. [She sighs. Does she have to explain this? No, she doesn't.] Have you talked to Shikamaru yet?

I am a ninja, so it is part of my job to find the hidden meanings within hidden meanings and overcome all hardships! This is just another test. And a jutsu is an art that we ninjas practice. I understand that it is not common knowledge to such a young civilian.

Then just relax, I'm going to catch you in an invisible force field. It'll be soft and springy, so use that to land with safely, OK?

[Susan creates a sizeable dome of force underneath the falling ninja, making it softer than usual, but resistant enough to slow him to a safe speed]

Oh, like Shikamaru? [ ...Well Shikamaru can do anything, so this guy must be okay. Ikki shrugs off any worry about his well-being, propping her chin on her hands as she watches him fall. ] So, hey, what hidden meanings are there in falling out of the sky?

No... it was your father who was talking to us last I remember, telling us about Naruto-kun's valiant efforts against Madara! What do you mean, "our world"?

Yes, just like Shikamaru-san! Do you also hail from Konoha, or has he perhaps helped you in his travels?

I do not know yet. But I seem to have a ways to go in which to figure it out!

[He looks down.]

Wow... that must be an incredible jutsu! Am I looking at it now, Miss?

Nope! I'm from Air Temple Island. He's helped me lots though, and he's really super smart and nice and fun!

[ well okay then. ] Well, if you can't figure it out at any point, my family has a giant flying bison. Y'know, if the ground is pretty close and you're not sure.

[You know who hangs out on roofs? Rapunzel. And when she sees this video she looks around wildly to see if she can see the falling guy, because as far as she knows falling out of the sky is really bad for you, okay.]

Hellllooo? Do you need help?

[Hair lasso is totally a thing she can do. Like a boss.]

This isn't our world, this place we're currently in. It's another world entirely among the many out there that you'll soon find out about.

[She swears Shikamaru can explain this better than her.]
