[ Kindness for the sake of kindness. How is that actually a thing? How could he be alive for so long if he was so nice? She's seen what the world does to people who are good and kind: they're taken advantage of by others. People like her, and people like the ones who've wanted to hurt her, using those good people as methods of doing so. It'll just get him hurt, so...why? ]

Because, you were in trouble, and I can tell that you are a good person, Nyuu-san. As a ninja, and as a young man, I want to help everyone that I can! So... it only makes sense!

[ Again, she's stunned by so honest an answer. Honest, and simply said. Like it's the most unsurprising thing in the world. A good person? She's tempted to smile at that, but a thought hits her before she can grow too conceited.

He's not wrong. Nyuu is a good person. She can't go letting herself forget that. Nyuu is the sunshine that warms people's hearts. She's the ideal version of herself she made so no one would hurt because of her again. It's only natural that ideal self would be a good person; her opposite in all ways.
