[Action]

[Lee is back in action on a brand new day. In the morning, before performing his usual workouts, he takes some time to prepare curried chicken soup to deliver to Rapunzel, assuming she still has her cold. And afterwards, amongst his jogs around the village and general intense workout routines, he takes some more time to prepare for his and Sora's Christmas plan.

Ever since that talk with Sora, Lee has set a new goal for himself and has started undergoing preparations. He doubts that this "Santa" will show up here in Luceti; so he plots to become Santa. He stops at the library and reads several books to get ideas of what different worlds and cultures think of this man, who must be nothing other than a Hokage-class ninja. Maybe even more powerful... His other stops include the item and clothing shops to collect accessories associated with this holiday, often with not-so-subtle attempts to be covert. He may spend some time people watching for signs of actions both benevolent or dubious. And finally, he spends some time running along the beach to collect as many seashells as he can carry to help Sora make them into what he calls "wayfinders".

But even so, he feels uneasy about this plan. What if there are key parts of Santa's legacy he is missing? How is he supposed to determine the difference between nice and naughty? And what if they want something other than seashells? So he decides to take to the journals, without playing his hand.]

Rock Lee here! Konoha's Beautiful Green Wild Beast! And I come with good news for this holiday season. I have it on good authority that the one known as "Santa" shall be arriving for the beloved Christmas holiday! And - and I am doing my best to act as his ears, eyes, mouth and every other body part! So, I will accept any intelligence that you have freely. For example, the sleeping schedules of yourselves and others, and who you would classify as "nice" or "naughty", including your own honest assessment of yourself. Finally, what would your ideal Christmas present be? I can communicate all of your wishes to the mighty Santa-sama all in due time!

You...don't know about Santa, at all? Do they not have traditions like Christmas in Konoha?

No, we do not possess such a tradition! But now I know much more about him through the word of mouth of one who has met him, as well as my own person studies!

You don't? But...you don't have any sort of mid-winter holiday?

That's what Christmas is.

I have been looking into all I can find about this holiday. Where I come from, the only holiday we observe within this month is the coming of the new year, near the very end! Yet it is distinctly different from this "Christmas". I have been learning much of Santa-sama's prowess.

Haha, Christmas is about a lot of things, depending on who you ask.

Santa and gifts are one aspect of it. It's also a religious holiday in some countries. And a holiday for couples in others.

But...what do you mean by Santa's prowess?

Is that so? I should deepen my research into the regional differences regarding observations of Christmas. That way I can ensure familiarity for all!

He must be skilled, with the way he can travel across the world in one night, even multiple worlds according to Sora-kun, with only the aid of his reindeer companions. Not to mention how he can slip into every home to deliver presents. Very few ninjas are so skilled.

I'd recommend it, it's a pretty important holiday on Earth.

I think there's magic involved with Santa, but he's hardly a ninja, Lee.

That could be a possibility. But some ninja arts are so advanced they can seem magical... I may trust my guts on this one. Either way, he appears to be a most worthy rival to surpass!

I suppose so. You think you can deliver gifts better?

Maybe not better, but in an area of such a smaller scale as this... Perhaps these are the limitations under which I can match him!

Well, maybe. You've got to get a big sack of gifts for everyone. And run with it on, unless you have a sleigh.

As for...naughty and nice assessments? Well, I'd probably classify myself as pretty nice. And my roommate Ilyana as well. And Marco too. He might seem naughty, but deep down he's a pretty nice guy.

Chun Li-san, I assure you that my sack will be overflowing! I may pass on acquiring a sleigh; running will provide the greater exercise and challenge!

I see. I shall take notes of all of these. Ilyana-san has seemed nice from past encounters!

[For a moment, she barely manages to hold back a laugh. Did he just say that? REALLY?

Smoker...definitely nice. So's Rapunzel, and Doctor Mizuno. Now Lupin, that guy's definitely naughty. He's a thief. And a bit of a creep. Adele Leblanc? She's pretty nice too.

[One of them makes him particularly excited.] Rapunzel-san is among the nicest I know! Smoker-san is also nice. But... Lupin-san? He has been kind to me. Is it true he is a thief?!

Rapunzel is great! I love her to bits. and Smoker's a good soldier.

[Chun-Li smiles slyly.]

Lupin's a nice guy, but he IS a thief. Supposedly the greatest thief in his world.

The greatest... thief in the world? That sounds like... the opposite of Santa-sama.

[You know what Lee? She is NOT going to say no to that. This...has too much potential for hilarity.]

In...a way, yes I suppose he is.

He planned to show me a movie. Could my trust be misplaced?

No...he's harmless. He just likes stealing things or something. I don't think he'd actually hurt anyone.

He just likes the attention he gets when he makes off with a landmark.

You never be too careful. [Tobi providing one clear example of when harmless foolishness is actually a disguise.] However, I shall trust your judgement on this subject.

He's my student. I don't think you'd have much trouble subduing him even if he was trouble. He's...not very strong.

Is that so? At least I should not have to worry about him serving as a menace, then. This is all most useful information!

I do not intend to unless I witness someone in harm's way.
