[Action]

[Lee is back in action on a brand new day. In the morning, before performing his usual workouts, he takes some time to prepare curried chicken soup to deliver to Rapunzel, assuming she still has her cold. And afterwards, amongst his jogs around the village and general intense workout routines, he takes some more time to prepare for his and Sora's Christmas plan.

Ever since that talk with Sora, Lee has set a new goal for himself and has started undergoing preparations. He doubts that this "Santa" will show up here in Luceti; so he plots to become Santa. He stops at the library and reads several books to get ideas of what different worlds and cultures think of this man, who must be nothing other than a Hokage-class ninja. Maybe even more powerful... His other stops include the item and clothing shops to collect accessories associated with this holiday, often with not-so-subtle attempts to be covert. He may spend some time people watching for signs of actions both benevolent or dubious. And finally, he spends some time running along the beach to collect as many seashells as he can carry to help Sora make them into what he calls "wayfinders".

But even so, he feels uneasy about this plan. What if there are key parts of Santa's legacy he is missing? How is he supposed to determine the difference between nice and naughty? And what if they want something other than seashells? So he decides to take to the journals, without playing his hand.]

Rock Lee here! Konoha's Beautiful Green Wild Beast! And I come with good news for this holiday season. I have it on good authority that the one known as "Santa" shall be arriving for the beloved Christmas holiday! And - and I am doing my best to act as his ears, eyes, mouth and every other body part! So, I will accept any intelligence that you have freely. For example, the sleeping schedules of yourselves and others, and who you would classify as "nice" or "naughty", including your own honest assessment of yourself. Finally, what would your ideal Christmas present be? I can communicate all of your wishes to the mighty Santa-sama all in due time!

Do you refer to Phoenix Ikki-kun or a third Ikki whom I am yet to acquaint myself with? Either way, I am confident that they will get the presents they want if they have been behaving nicely.

I see. So for Christmas, do you believe that Ikki-kun's ideal present would be to fight you?

I don't think it's a good present, since I can't break my promise. [ hmm.. still thinking about it, but yup, what she said sounds about right. ] And yes, we come from different worlds.

I see. Your situation sounds most romantic, if I may say so! In that case, perhaps, I can get him some equipment for training and fighting.

That does sound like something Ikki-kun would like.. [ not even realising the slip there. ] It would have to be strong though, since he's really strong too.

Trust me, Kotomi-chan! Santa-sama would only obtain for him the strongest!

Wow, Santa can really do all that..?

Of course he can. Santa-sama is capable of anything. If he can visit every house in multiple worlds in just one night, then he is capable of that feat as well.

He really is amazing, doing all of that for everyone's sake. I wish I could do something back for him, to thank him for everything..

You already do. By being nice, you earn Santa-sama's favor! That is all he requires.

.. Really..? [ headtilt. ] He really doesn't need anything more? But how does Santa live then, doesn't everyone need to get something in return for their work..?

Much of Santa-sama's motives are a mystery, but his heart is pure. Someone of his ability could very easily make a living. However, it is also said that one may leave cookies for him as an offering, and he partakes in them.

Cookies.. I understand. [ she nods - there's something oddly determined about it, despite her blankness. ]

I will try and find the best cookies just for him. Does Lee-kun think he likes any particular kind?

From what I understand... the Christmas holiday is associated primarily with gingerbread men cookies. Those may be his preferences! I do not believe one can go wrong with chocolate chip cookies, either!

Gingerbread men.. [ .. she seems to be thinking, give her a few moments.. she's so slow. ]

Wouldn't it be sad to eat those though? They're just like real people, after all..

But... it is only a shape! They do not possess any life or youthly vigor, Kotomi-chan. They must still have a delicious taste.

I know they're not alive, but don't you think it's a little sad since they look like people? It makes it seem like you're actually eating people..

Ah - You raise a good point, Kotomi-chan, and with all of the passion of youth! Santa-sama must not simulate cannibalism. It is quite sad... So what shape do you believe would be more appropriate?!

Maybe a shape that seems more like something that would be nice to eat? Like..

Fascinating! As long as they are still composed of gingerbread, I am sure Santa-sama will be knocked off his feet by their quality!
