[Lee is back in action on a brand new day. In the morning, before performing his usual workouts, he takes some time to prepare curried chicken soup to deliver to Rapunzel, assuming she still has her cold. And afterwards, amongst his jogs around the village and general intense workout routines, he takes some more time to prepare for his and Sora's Christmas plan.

Ever since that talk with Sora, Lee has set a new goal for himself and has started undergoing preparations. He doubts that this "Santa" will show up here in Luceti; so he plots to become Santa. He stops at the library and reads several books to get ideas of what different worlds and cultures think of this man, who must be nothing other than a Hokage-class ninja. Maybe even more powerful... His other stops include the item and clothing shops to collect accessories associated with this holiday, often with not-so-subtle attempts to be covert. He may spend some time people watching for signs of actions both benevolent or dubious. And finally, he spends some time running along the beach to collect as many seashells as he can carry to help Sora make them into what he calls "wayfinders".

But even so, he feels uneasy about this plan. What if there are key parts of Santa's legacy he is missing? How is he supposed to determine the difference between nice and naughty? And what if they want something other than seashells? So he decides to take to the journals, without playing his hand.]

Rock Lee here! Konoha's Beautiful Green Wild Beast! And I come with good news for this holiday season. I have it on good authority that the one known as "Santa" shall be arriving for the beloved Christmas holiday! And - and I am doing my best to act as his ears, eyes, mouth and every other body part! So, I will accept any intelligence that you have freely. For example, the sleeping schedules of yourselves and others, and who you would classify as "nice" or "naughty", including your own honest assessment of yourself. Finally, what would your ideal Christmas present be? I can communicate all of your wishes to the mighty Santa-sama all in due time!

I shall keep my concerns at a minimal yet notable level, then. Does this mean you are feeling better, Rapunzel-san?

[She moves back towards the living room, taking a seat and gesturing for him to follow.]

Quite a bit, yes! Another day or so and I'll be fit as a fiddle!

[He follows her and seats himself stiffly nearby.]

This is most good news! You do look much better already. But such extra days should bring you back to your prime! I am very glad to hear this.

[She grins, but covers her mouth for a quick cough.]

I'm glad, too. I feel like I've missed so much, being inside all the time like this. Even with the journal, it's not the same. And the bakery! I hope it hasn't been too much for Nojiko.

[And he reaches out briefly as she coughs, as expecting her to fall and need to be caught.]

I do not believe that it has been. I may not have had the pleasure of talking to Nojiko-san, yet, but it has seemed orderly whenever I have peeked my head in. But I am sure that the outside world has missed a youth such as yourself as well!

[Aww, isn't that so nice of him! Rapunzel beams as she clears her throat. Happiest sick person ever.]

That's good to hear! She's wonderful. I'm sure everything is just fine. [She sighs.] But I'll be glad when I can go outside as much as I want again. I haven't even gotten to play in the snow yet!

Oh yes, playing in the snow is a most wonderful recreational activity! But that should definitely wait until you are in tip-top shape! What is your favorite method of snow-playing, Rapunzel-san?

Well, actually...when I said I hadn't played in the snow yet, I meant...ever. This will be the first time I'll be able to enjoy the snow outside.

[She was rather looking forward to her first winter, to playing in the snow instead of just watching it fall from her window.]

Rapunzel-san... That is very tragic. Yet it is also a very unique opportunity! I will do all I can to make sure that your enjoyment of this snow is maximized, would you enjoy that?

[She claps her hands together.] I would, very much! Oh - can we make a snow castle? And a snow man? And eat snow flakes?

I would gladly help you will all of those activities. But - the snow flakes... There is nothing special in their taste, Rapunzel-san. [Of course he's tried.]

[She looks puzzled.] Really? Hmm...well, I think I'll still try it. But I'll keep my expectations low.

That may be wise. I do not wish for you to experience disappointment of any kind! However, I assure you that most other snow-related activities are in fact more likely to exceed your expectations!

Really? [Chinhands.] What's your favorite snow activity, Rockly?

The snowball fights! [He shouts, abruptly and eagerly.] They embody the spirit of youthly competition and can be a useful training exercise as well!

[That does sound like a promising combination.]

So, do you have any tips for a beginner, then? How to make the perfect snowball?

Of course! In fact, let me show you! [He gets up and gently cracks the window open just enough to reach out and grab some snow. He quickly closes it and cradles the snow in his hands as if it were a wounded baby bird.]

Watch very carefully, Rapunzel-san...

[She does indeed watch carefully, taking mental notes of his expert snowball-making technique.]

I see...

[He then begins grunting and focusing on the snow, folding it over itself oddly. Lee then rests it on the table and makes some high-pitched noises while jabbing at it. Finally, he reaches down to scoop up the snow, now in a melting and dripping but somewhat ball-like form.]

Do you see?

[That is certainly...quite the demonstration.]

Yes, I do! That looks like a perfect snowball!

[It does not. But, she doesn't really know any better.]

[He beams back at her and gives a thumbs up.]

I am glad you enjoy it! In due time, you shall be able to form them firsthand. Also, we shall be able to resume your training!

[She nods enthusiastically in agreement.]

Absolutely! I can't wait to get started again. I've still got so much to learn.

Of course. I can prepare a rigorous refresher course for whenever you are fully able-bodied, Rapunzel-san. It will be most fun! [And horribly exhausting.]

[But refresher sounds so...refreshing! Somehow.]

I'll be sure to let you know when I'm entirely recovered, then. I'm sure with the soup, it'll only be a day or two more now.

Of course! You have special curry soup today. It will energize your body unbelievably!
