Sixth Gate: Rock Lee's Springtime of Love [Action/Written]

[Lee had been going about his daily routine as usual - or seemingly so - on this brand new day. But there were some omissions he had not noticed; he did not check the journal to see if Sakura had any new messages, nor did he look out for her at all as he ran throughout the village. And then? His jog came to a sudden halt as he caught Izumo Kamiki out of the corner of his eye. He found himself collapsing to the ground with the sudden rush of feeling.

Those eyebrows... why had he not noticed how beautiful they were? And immediately, he thought of other things that suddenly seemed compelling about her. The way she cared for her fox, the romance novels she seemed interested in reading... There was no choice. He would have to romance her. So he ran off to the flower shop and the library to make preparations.

Later that day, Lee could be found jogging through the village in search of Izumo. The difference? He is now balancing a titanic vase on his head, which is filled with dozens of flowers. On top of that, there's a romance novel sticking out of the pocket of his flak jacket. He is young and in love, and he couldn't feel better.]

[And at some point in the day, Lee sees fit to write a simple message in the journal.]

Youth is love.

Of course. Ah.. the fact that Lee-kun remembers it is really, really touching. This is the sort of things friends do for each other, isn't it..? Remembering things about each other..

I feel honored that you are touched by that. I try to remember as many facts as I can, regardless of nature of my relations to the other party! However, I am also sure to remember all which can help our friendship, Kotomi-chan! And I will perform any other actions which our friendship can benefit from.

Ah - no more than you think is necessary! In most cases, I simply think "What is a way I could help my friend?" When an action comes to mind, I do everything I can to make it happen! However, such diligence is not a strict necessity. After all, true friends will accept each other without any strict conditions!

No, I think I understand. I would like to help my friends as much as I can too, since I read that's what friends do for each other.. But I guess Lee-kun can teach me a lot about friendship as well, he seems like a real expert.

A-ah, that may be too high a praise! It sounds like you have a good concept of friendship already. However, it would not be impossible to add lessons on friendships to my rule as a ninja tutor.

You can be both a ninja tutor and a friendship tutor, right? I think a lot of people might need help with either, so in that case you can help almost everyone..

This is true! I have encountered a number of people in my time here who do not seem to properly understand friendship. A number of peers from my home sometimes seem like they could use refresher courses as well... Perhaps I could prepare some lessons!

I would visit Lee-kun's lessons for sure. After all, compared to Lee-kun I still have a lot to learn about friendship.

Lee-kun.. Lee-kun's so.. so kind.. [ She's almost wibbling a little from it, but since it's Kotomi it turns into the blankest kind of happiness ever. ]
