[The video feed suddenly kicks in with the sound of rushing winds and the sight of a blue sky. And soon, falling into view is bushy-browed teenager with a bowlcut, confusion and panic written all over his face.

Upon arrival, Rock Lee and his book open have begun freefalling through the sky to towards the village. Lee keeps his eyes focused on the open book and pushes himself through the air to get a closer look. Just enough to tell that it's some kind of communication device... and that it seems to be recording his face, and his movements.

Can they hear him, too? A million thoughts rush through his head. What happened? Where did everyone go? Why am I floating through the sky? Somebody help me down! But... if people could see him, he wouldn't want to look weak, would he? He's Rock Lee, after all. The Green Beast of Konoha. He can figure out a way out of this.

What would Gai Sensei do?

So he opts to force on a smile, one full of shining teeth, and he flashes a thumbs up towards the camera and shouts as loud as he can.]

[Lee can find his way down. After all, his training weights are gone. He feels so light.]

[If anyone misses out on the high-paced action, they can find Lee after he lands - either traveling to the item shop for his headband, weights and equipment or to the clothing shop for his valued green jumpsuit and vest. That sounds extremely fascinating. There are those in our world with remarkable jutsus. The closest example I can think of are those with bloodline limits, who have powerful jutsus that are unique to their clans.

[He stares for a moment, but the tugging of her hair does increase his irritation.]

[Lee staggers about, already feeling drained from opening the gates, but barely taking in what she's saying.]

[He starts swerving around.]

Yeah... [Naruto knows what Shikamaru's talking about and he still couldn't really follow that. He sort of did, but it reminded him of that complicated explanation he got back during Sage training.

[He takes a moment to think this over, trying not to just think about ice cream instead.]

So there are people here from all different kinds of times? What... kind of place is this, then? And... what times are you all from?

[It's a lot to take in. But Lee focuses on the most stressing part.]

That is the term used for the various types of techniques employed by ninjas, many of them mystical in nature! Ninjutsu describes special ninja techniques, which can utilize elements. Genjutsu is the art of using illusions. And taijutsu is the art of simple hand-to-hand combat, which I have been mastering throughout my life.

No trick, no genjutsu. To effect such a wide-scale, the details of this world are too elaborate.

That the people here come from other worlds makes more sense than any other theory, by comparison.

[Lee's already spoken to some on the journals, Shikamaru saw. He might get an idea of what he means.]

What Shikamaru said. I mean, hell, I've been stuck in this place on and off for years.

If it's true. I suppose that it makes sense, as Shikamaru has been here for years without us missing him at home, but...
