First Gate [Video/Action]

[The video feed suddenly kicks in with the sound of rushing winds and the sight of a blue sky. And soon, falling into view is bushy-browed teenager with a bowlcut, confusion and panic written all over his face.

Upon arrival, Rock Lee and his book open have begun freefalling through the sky to towards the village. Lee keeps his eyes focused on the open book and pushes himself through the air to get a closer look. Just enough to tell that it's some kind of communication device... and that it seems to be recording his face, and his movements.

Can they hear him, too? A million thoughts rush through his head. What happened? Where did everyone go? Why am I floating through the sky? Somebody help me down! But... if people could see him, he wouldn't want to look weak, would he? He's Rock Lee, after all. The Green Beast of Konoha. He can figure out a way out of this.

What would Gai Sensei do?

So he opts to force on a smile, one full of shining teeth, and he flashes a thumbs up towards the camera and shouts as loud as he can.]

DYNAMIC... ENTRY!

[Lee can find his way down. After all, his training weights are gone. He feels so light.]

[Action]

[If anyone misses out on the high-paced action, they can find Lee after he lands - either traveling to the item shop for his headband, weights and equipment or to the clothing shop for his valued green jumpsuit and vest. He'll also jog around to survey the village and some of the forest afterwards, eager to greet his new neighbors in the process.]

I see! We all need wonderful teachers to help us obtain great abilities. But that does not make our own skills any less remarkable. I bet you are also a pretty great learner, Ikki-chan. [He flashes her a thumbs up and a shining smile.]

Well, I do have lots of teachers in lots of things!

[ Oh man. Time to count them off on her fingers. ] Grandpa for airbending, Smoker's been teaching me defense with a jitte which is weird and hard but also kinda fun and reminds me a little of staffwork? Which I miss a lot since I don't have mine here. I like him 'cause he's from a navy like my Uncle Bumi is, and he tells interesting stories, so it's fun to play with him. An' then Sifu Raine has been tutoring me so I'm ready for school. Annnnnnnnd Uncle Sokka promised to teach me how to throw a boomerang so it'd come back! And Shikamaru said he'd help me be sneakier!

[ and then there are all the people she's constantly interrogating re: their worlds. ]

You truly have quite the collection of mentors, Ikki-chan! I suppose it is very useful for you to learn as much as possible in the event of danger. Even Shikamaru-kun is teaching you the ninja arts? I suppose there's no room for anything I could teach you.

[breezing]

Not the ninja arts so much as how to - [ SNEAK EXTRA COOKIES after getting permission from Aang. Which is secret. Uh. ] - play fun games!

Anyway, there's always something to learn from somebody, right?

Ah, I hope he is teaching you only the most fun of games! [And not... stuff like assassinations.]

And you are correct, Ikki-chan. There is no limit to the volume of different things one can learn.

Oh, he's the funnest! [ LOL NO just secret cookie grabbing missions. Of Stealth. ]

Right!! Especially here, 'cause of all the worlds.

Ah, yes, I can only imagine all that can be learned with all the worlds represented here.

Mostly stuff 'bout where people live and how they eat and what they do so far! But there's "magic" in other worlds, which is what a lot of people call bending.

I see. This is most interesting. I did not know there could be such a thing as magic - but then, many jutsus achieve similar ends.

Well, just 'cause you don't know something doesn't mean it isn't something that's true, right?

Hey, do you need help getting to the welcome center or anything?

I believe I shall do fine. Simply point me in its direction.

[ ...Well, okay. SHE'S POINTING OVER THERE, LEE. ]

[He looks in the direction and then gives Ikki a quick bow.]

I see. Thank you, Ikki-chan! I believe I will be able to find my way on my own from there. But I thank you most wholeheartedly for your assistance and am honored to meet you!

[Nice guy pose - thumbs up, bright, shining smile.]

[ He keeps doing that pose. Is it a cultural thing????
