[ And that's, you know, dodging its attacks and attempts at grabbing him. First she's gonna rip the hem of her shirt- just a small strip and dunk it into the muddy swamps to soak it up.

Waiting for a moment, she then starts to swiftly move (as swiftly as she can in these boggy waters) and leap right onto the creature's back. It won't see her coming with its focus on Rock Lee so that leaves her enough time to slap the material right over it's eyes and tie it at least around some of its spikey protrusions on its head to blind it long enough. ]

Now! [ With a large leap back with the push of her feet from the monster's body, she aims for one of the nearby trees. no point in trying to run in this swamp- it won't be long until it sees them and chases after. stay hidden and out of sight and it will have no choice but to move on. ]

[Rock Lee looked on anxiously as Rose started to make his move, worried that he might have to intervene. But she handled it so well that his expression quickly changed to one of awe. She did it!]

Good job!! [He raises a thumbs up and he dashes at a great speed over to join Rose. With luck, from here on they'll be able to successfully evade the monster.]

[ He'll get a thumbs up in turn- once they're, you know, safe and hidden behind the tree. Though she makes sure to stay completely hidden as has her back pressed against the tree. ] You aren't too bad yourself!

Let's hope the guy gets the memo. [ Which says a lot more quieter. There's a brief moment.. waiting, and the sound of movement has her peeking just slightly around the tree to see the monster moving on. ]

Just as planned!

[Rock Lee quickly hides himself in the tree as well, clinging to the underside of a branch above Rose and smiling proudly even before their success is evident.]

Thank you! [And then he smiles at her announcement, releasing his hold to hop down onto the same branch as the stranger, and he cheers.]

We did it!! Now, to continue our escape!

[ Man, she could use a moment to relax after that but she figures it'd be smarter to keep on the move. The sooner she finds that exit the better. ]

Speaking of escape, you wouldn't happen to know the way out, would you? [ Wishful thinking! Also, she should probably introduce herself to her useful partner. ] Name's Rose, by the way.

[Well, at least he won't start moving until she does. And introductions sound like a valuable thing!]

Such a beautiful name! It is a pleasure to meet you, Rose-san. I am Konoha's Beautiful Green Wild Beast, Rock Lee! [He says with some dramatic posing.]

Ah... but, as for an exit, I do not have much to help! Normally, we can leave this virtual world whenever we want, but when new people are here such as yourself, we have to stay here until we complete this 'game''s objective! And I am not sure what it is...

[ Well, she can say it's been a while since someone's gone and complimented her name. So she hums an "oooh?" at the comment before taking in his sudden dramatic posing and she snickers in reply. Okay, this guy is pretty weird, but she can get behind doing some dramatic posing after a victory so she'll take that out of his book for later. ] Thanks. It's nice meeting you too, Rock Lee.

[ If she were Lailah, she'd have a grand time with puns right about now. Alas she just moves onto the next subject with an expected, but still disappointed expression. ] Figured as much. I went past the whole "drinking this potion" bit but other than that it hasn't thrown any more clues at me. Only a tree monster.

Guess best luck being to just find an exit.

[He smiles at her initial response, and then he tries to focus in thought as she goes over the possibilities.]

I see! The potions did not help me either.

Hm... I suppose that seeking an exit may be our only option after all, Rose-san! But where do we check from here?

Pick a direction and head there is our only option mostly.

[ However, she's more observant than she looks. Given she's looking about and then catches a trail of footsteps. ] Ooor we can see where the footsteps are heading? Maybe it'll take us right to the exit!

[Lee perks up when she points out the footsteps.]

Footsteps? They could be an important clue! Yes, let us follow them! [He cheerily scurries over to the trail.]

Important clue or a big trap. But hey, we've gotten this far right? What's a little more trouble?

[ Actually something not to be desired, but hey you only live once. For a few minutes there's plenty of footsteps along the way, Rose taking note there being plenty of sets going over older trails. ] Hmmm. I wonder if anyone else got a clue as to where we're suppose to go. Though that would be unfair, right?

[He nods at her first conclusion.] That is correct! If there is a trap, we should spring it! [Lee try not to sound so excited about it...

And then he looks more serious as he tries to puzzle over her later observations and wonders what to make of these other footprints.]

Ah... It is hard to tell what is fair or not. We all have our own hardships, after all! As long as we all find the clue eventually and find our way out of here, that is what matters!
