[Video]

[The video feed suddenly kicks in with the sound of rushing winds and the sight of a blue sky. And soon, falling into view is bushy-browed teenager with a bowlcut, confusion and panic written all over his face.

Upon arrival, Rock Lee and his book open have begun freefalling through the sky to towards the village. Lee keeps his eyes focused on the open book and pushes himself through the air to get a closer look. Just enough to tell that it's some kind of communication device... and that it seems to be recording his face, and his movements.

Can they hear him, too? A million thoughts rush through his head. What happened? Where did everyone go? Why am I floating through the sky? Somebody help me down! But... if people could see him, he wouldn't want to look weak, would he? He's Rock Lee, after all. The Green Beast of Konoha. He can figure out a way out of this.

What would Gai Sensei do?

So he opts to force on a smile, one full of shining teeth, and he flashes a thumbs up towards the camera and shouts as loud as he can.]

DYNAMIC... ENTRY!

[Lee can find his way down. After all, his training weights are gone. He feels so light.]

[Action]

[If anyone misses out on the high-paced action, they can find Lee after he lands - either traveling to the item shop for his headband, weights and equipment or to the clothing shop for his valued green jumpsuit and vest. He'll also jog around to survey the village and some of the forest afterwards, eager to greet his new neighbors in the process.]

[Lee pops up from the pile of the clothes, coughing a brassiere off of his face.]

Neji, you found it!

With considerably less drama than you just displayed, yes.

[And Neji tosses it onto Lee's head. A little provocation, maybe a little more. It will only take so much before they wind up in a scuffle or a spar, and then he can let out all the tension winding up in him.]

Drama? I have only displayed the recklessness of youth, and I believe it has been done in a most beautiful fashion.

[He stands up with the clothes draped over his head. Lee defends his case, but he's not quite riled enough to challenge his rival just yet.]

I'm sure that whoever has to clean up this mess will be most appreciative of your display. You might consider others before charging forward.

[The 'idiot' at the end is left implicit.]

Neji, you know well how little control I have without my weights! And I shall gladly clean this mess of my own making!

A lack of control isn't an excuse. It's a flaw you should correct.

[... He can only imagine how well Lee trying to clean up will go.]

Go ahead. [He'll just watch.]

I must train more! That is all.

[He begins scooping up some of the clothes.]

[Just going to lean against the doorjamb with his arms folded.]

Is there any dilemma where your answer isn't to train harder?

[Is that the tiniest hint of a smile trying to show itself at the corner of his mouth? Of course it isn't, shut up.]

Not just my answer! Harder work is the solution to every problem.

[He begins hanging the clothes back up speedily - and he grins. Perhaps this is his practice.]

It still hasn't gotten you a date with Sakura, I've noticed.

[Because he just has to needle Lee about that.]

[Lee is quickly flustered.]

S-Sakura-san is... matters of the heart are very different and require a much more delicate touch. [A slight pause.] Where is Sakura-san in this strange world, by the way?

Unfortunately, delicate touches don't seem to be your specialty

Sakura's not here. I believe she was, briefly, but she was sent home about the time I arrived here.

Just another thing to work on! But.... Sakura-san was here, but I have missed her? Oh, such bittrsweet experiences of youth!

Yes, you missed her. She's back home now, and the more luck to her for it.

This place is... is it truly so unforgiving, Neji?

It is.

[The words are dark, spoken with a heavy finality.]

We're captives, Lee. Caged prisoners at the whim of our kidnappers.

[He looks down for a moment, considering this situation as he twists his jumpsuit in his hand. Then he looks back up and tries to smile.]

But... even if we are trapped here, and they try to break us... they will fail, right? We are ninjas of Konoha and students of Gai-Sensei after all. We youths are made of materials that are much too stubborn.

They can change who we are at a whim. There are... Shifts, they're called here. Times when everything changes around us, when even we change. The last time... Tenten turned into some bizarre other creature, concerned with nail polish and lipstick and clothing. Not at all the person we knew. It could happen to us, too.

This... this is very disturbing. It cannot be...

But it is. That is the reality we face here.

Then face it I shall. With all the bravery of youth I can muster!

You'll face it, no matter your attitude; there are no other options. We're stuck here.

Then... then I will!

[He won't let hopelessness get the better of him. With the clothes back in place, he stomps into the changing room.]

[Maybe he'll be able to help Neji fight it. For the meantime, though, Neji will just lean against the wall and wait for Lee to change.]

[And he comes out afterwards in his jumpsuit and jacket, with the weights successfully reapplied.]

Having my clothes back, my determination is only redoubled! If we are to survive in this place, Neji, we must simply remember everything Gai Sensei has taught us!
